Privacy Policy

Version 2.0 — September 14, 2026

We at CampaignTrip LLC., DBA TESTLAB, a Limited Liability Company formed in Bend, Oregon, USA ("us," "we," "our"), value your privacy very highly. This Privacy Policy explains what we collect, why, and what you can do about it. By using our services or accessing our website, you agree to this Privacy Policy. If you disagree with any part of it, then you may not use our services or website.

Information You Give Us

Most of what we hold, you typed in yourself. Our project brief asks for:

We ask for this to price and scope the work. We do not require it to browse the site, and you can read everything on the site without submitting anything.

We do not currently ask for your phone number through the website. If you give it to us another way — email, a call, a signed agreement — we hold it under this same policy.

Information Collected Automatically

When you visit the site, our analytics tools record technical and behavioural information: pages viewed, how far you get through the project brief, approximate location derived from your IP address, device and browser type, referring site, and timestamps. This is collected using cookies and similar technologies.

Session Recording

We use session replay on this website. This records a reconstruction of your visit — mouse movement, scrolling, clicks, and navigation — so we can see where the site is confusing and fix it.

We deliberately exclude the part of the brief where you enter your details. The screen containing your name, email, website and company is marked so that the recorder ignores it entirely, and text you type into any other field on the site is masked before the recording leaves your browser. We are a conversion optimization firm; watching how people use a form is our job, but reading what they typed into it is not.

We do not record anything outside this website.

Who We Share It With

We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it with third parties for their own marketing.

A completed brief is delivered into the tools we run the business on — currently Slack, Asana, and Google Sheets — so the right person sees it and it does not get lost. Those vendors process it on our behalf.

The analytics and advertising tools listed below receive the automatically collected information described above as part of how they work.

Cookies, Analytics, and Advertising

We use the following, and this list is kept current as we add or remove tools:

We also use, or expect to use, advertising and remarketing tags from Meta (Facebook), LinkedIn, and Google Ads. These let us measure which campaigns bring people here and show ads to people who have visited. They set their own cookies and are governed by their own privacy policies as well as this one.

You can manage or block cookies through your browser settings. Most browsers also offer a "Do Not Track" setting; there is no agreed standard for how sites should respond to it, and ours does not currently change its behaviour based on it.

We previously used Microsoft Clarity. We no longer do, and it is not present on this website.

How We Protect Your Information

No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

How Long We Keep It

We keep briefs and contact details for as long as we may reasonably do business with you, and delete them sooner on request. Analytics and session recordings are kept according to the retention period set in each tool, which is shorter.

Direct Marketing

We use the information we collect for direct marketing — mostly, following up on a brief you sent us. You can tell us to stop at any time by emailing hello@testlab.gg, and we will.

Children's Privacy

Our services are not intended for or directed at children, and we do not knowingly collect information from them.

Your Rights

Whoever and wherever you are, you can ask us to:

Depending on where you live, some of these may be legal rights rather than just our policy. We apply them the same way either way.

To exercise any of them, email hello@testlab.gg. You also have the right to complain to the data protection authority in your jurisdiction.

Changes to This Policy

We may amend this Privacy Policy at any time. We will post the updated version to this website, and the version number and date at the top will change.
